A cartoon for you guys.

Old Amos and Andy cartoon from 1934. Note: Freeman Gosden and Charles Corell, the two very liberal White men who voice Amos and Andy were very much against racism and gave money to the NAACP. They also got along very well with the Negro actors in the series. I dont understand how this is racist. This doenst offend me. Maybe I was just born before my time.

Thanks for the link, Cosmokramer!

I have always loved Amos 'n Andy!

They are a testimony to the incredible comedic genius of the Negro Race!

A people who are unable to laugh at themselves are not only a sad bunch, but potentially dangerous as well.

I've long thought that the reason the African nations with a majority black population have failed economically, is because they aren't deriving 100% of their GNP from their greatest human resources:  music, comedy, & sports.

The whole world runs to the Negro for these three talents.

Many performances from the golden age of Negro vaudeville can be found on the catalogs of Chess Records / Checker Records...highly recommended.

I agree with MassuhDGoodName - I really enjoyed it.
It does not seem racist to me.
Really it is part of American History.
Those who find it offensive should just not watch it.
