Sorry, I don't buy it, for these reasons, just off the top of my head:
1) I'm convinced that Obama views a Muslim nation with the bomb as an appropriate counter-weight to Israel in the middle east. He's like the 1940s intellectuals who stole nuclear secrets for the USSR ..... they inherently fear imbalance, even when they themselves have the advantage.
2) If the Saudis and other Arab states in the mid-east were convinced that Obama was going to attack, then we wouldn't be hearing the whispers about other nations starting their own nuclear programs, no matter how well cloaked in claims of 'peaceful' energy. For pete's sake, they swimming in oil with near-perfect conditions for solar power.
3) That Nobel Peace Prize, fraud though it was, means a lot to that guy, and he's not going to stand for losing the praises of The Great Unwashed.
