Since the case for manmade global warming fell apart scientifically, journalistically and of course, logically, one would have thought we would hear less about green energy and climate change.  Side note:  The supplanting of climate change for global warming is due to the fact the earth has not gotten warmer in a decade.

Well think again, our President continues to tout the need for, and benefit of, green energy and green jobs, respectively.  Despite the evidence, President Obama wants to transform our relatively free market economy into a centrally planned, and subsidized green economy.  Why so little faith in the free market Mr. President?  Surely, you know whenever government intervenes and dictates where resources go; the outcome is crony capitalism where efficiency is trumped by venal politics. 

Further, you must be aware of the myth that green jobs lower unemployment; this according to Spain’s experience where for every 4 green jobs created, 9 are lost.  That study, along with elementary understanding of basic economics should be enough to put the kibosh on this ill-conceived, legislative juggernaut.  But this is the era of hope and change, where the history, facts and truth yield to the discredited economic theory of socialism.
