Mord you are 100% correct. In fact Yosef Bodansky wrote about this missile and WMD movement by the Russians from Iraq into Syria, Russia and Iran a few weeks prior to the American invasion of Iraq. America, Britain nor Israel has the balls to openly confront the vileness of the Soviet/China pact nations. It is a sad reality but not only Bodansky's book "The Secret History of the Iraq War", Freidmans "America's Secret War" and others also outline this movement of weapons.
