Two New Jersey men were arrested by the FBI at JFK International Airport as they were preparing to board separate planes in a terrorism plot tied to a radical Islamic group based in Somalia, NJ.com reported.
Both men, Mohamed Hamoud Alessa, 20, of North Bergen, and Carlos Eduardo Almonte, 26, of Elmwood Park, were charged with conspiring to commit an act of international terrorism through a group tied to Usama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda network, officials familiar with the details of the arrests told the Website.
