Most people are only mildly concerned or aware that their is a problem here in America... As long as the phones, internet and TV are working most people have enough to keep their small minds occupied.... If they only used the above items to see the fix they are headed for it would be a different picture... Right now the socialist safety net here in America with two year unemployment and multiple relief programs is keeping most people quiet...The article  paints a very bleak picture which in many parts of the country might well be the case... One of the first comments was Russia really did win the cold war.  I honestly however don't believe Russia is actually in much better shape... When the global economy really starts grinding to a halt Russia's new found oil money will grind to a halt with it. With its small aging population that for the most part have major drinking problems I see a even longer tougher road to recovery.

Complacency, Apathy, and Unawareness are destroying this great nation.    Freedom brings complacency, until people realize, Freedom isn't free!  Look what the Founding fathers went through and General George Washington, How many times he was defeated before Victory.   I see the Church of Christ, (The Bride) being raptured from the earth, leaving unbelievers, corrupt and those who have no faith.  Imagine what this country will be like when all the people who work, pay their bills, and contribute to society positively are Gone!

In Russia you must buy all school books for your kids in state schools. And they are criticizing the USA? Also, America should be proud of its roads. Seems like Russians are happy with decline in economy forgetting all the factories built by Americans in their country? Coca Cola is investing in their producers. Fresh capital and still so much hate?
