Thankfully,   the DREAM Act was defeated in the Senate earlier today  ( 55-41,  with 4 Senators not voting and 60 votes needed to pass in the Senate.  )
"Israel's leaders seem to be more afraid of Obama than they are of G-d. Now we're getting to the real root of the problem. Secular politics won't save Israel. Denying the divine nature of the Jewish State has brought Israel neither stability nor peace. When that changes Israel will finally be blessed with both in abundance"-----------NormanF   ( Posted on Israel Matzav's Blog )

This legislation has a long history and is not likely to completely disappear for good... Some years back the military saw it as a way to boost sagging enlistment numbers... At first glance the legislation itself might not have been the worse thing in the world if not for the reason that it is intended to be used as part of a bigger picture... Supporters of the legislation paint a picture of 65,000 kids trapped here in an American limbo by their illegal parents...My take on the entire issue is that it is rewarding law breaking... There are many people throughout the world who make legal applications to immigrate to America and they are being held back because of the millions of roaches streaming over our borders every day...
