Pedophile Colorado goes to court in Florida

We clearly have a pedophile who is a danger to children, however, it is odd that some small county thousands of miles away was the one that booked him. This was a huge waste of tax dollars since he will probably be able to find a way to defeat the jurisdiction and sue for an illegal arrest. One question is whether neither the state of Colorado nor the federal government were able to catch him doing anything illegal and book him in Colorado for it.
I have a dilemma because I do support free speech, however, this is a dangerous person who belong behind bars. I would prefer to see him booked for attempting an actual sexual crime, but he would have to be caught without harming any children. Pedophiles who have never been convicted of any crimes are not forced to register as sex offenders, but they are still a danger.
Does it bother you that you have to face the dome and the rock to say the sh'ma?
