Gabe Carimi (born June 13, 1988 in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin) is an American football offensive tackle for the Wisconsin Badgers. He is considered one of the best prospects for the 2011 NFL Draft.[1]

Carimi, who is Jewish,[2] attended Monona Grove High School in Monona, Wisconsin. He played both offensive and defensive tackle and was a Parade All-American as a senior.

After being redshirted as a freshman in 2006, Carimi started all 13 games at left tackle for the Badgers in 2007, replacing Joe Thomas, who was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He was a second-team Freshman All-American selection by Rivals.com and The Sporting News As a sophomore in 2008, he started all 10 games he played in. As a junior in 2009, he started all 13 games and was a First-team All-Big Ten selection. As a senior in 2010, Carimi won the 2010 Outland Trophy ahead of Rodney Hudson and Nate Solder.[3]
