Anyone watching the grammys?
« on: February 13, 2011, 11:07:52 PM »
I'm sure DBF is watching.  Anyone else?

LOL, I saw rihanna perform and I have to say she has some real jungle dance moves!   Good grief.
I can't stand that song 'what's my name' - every station plays it all day and I switch it off every time.   I'm not impressed.

No... Why would anyone watch that?

Im sure it is going to be gross, crass, and controversial...
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

To see the performances and see who wins.   I hear these songs on the radio so I am kind of curious to find out.

I have only watched parts of it - some country singer performed and then later on rihanna did her jungle boogey.    And Mick Jagger did some weird song also.      It's been pretty uneventful.

Oh and lady gaga ripped off a madonna song but I wasn't too interested in the performance, I was cooking at the time and spent most of it in the kitchen.   It looked bland to me.

Yes, I know people who like that kind of stuff... I end up hearing about it, and that is good enough for me...

If you like that, so be it... But seriously I cannot find a good reason to even be interested in that stuff.

DBF should be excited.  His hero Lady Gaga won something.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.

You mean music?

Not so much the music itself, but the pomp, glitter, and fashion of these award shows... The music has its issues but I never really got into any award ceremonies.

Was watching Lady Gaga, very ugly, and everything about her is a carbon copy of Madonna.

Talk about people who are their fans.  No brains. :o

Is all the sniping at DBF necessary? He's a loyal member of JTF.

What sniping?    I was also watching so I don't consider it an insult to suggest that he watched.

Any jest there with DBF on these topics is out of fun.  He knows we all love him even if he says some things that sound silly to us.
