When mexicans raise their flag, they are using it as a symbol of occupation. They want to take over this country, end of story. These people are so stupid that acturally think that if they take over here, without white people the country will still function. In less than a year it will be worse that mexico or the other turd world cesspool they come from. As far as Columbus 'discovering' America, he performed one of the greatest feats of naval navigation in the world. The populations that we here had no concept of where they were and how they got here. For all practical purposes they were and still are savages. If the Europeans did not discover them and teach them they would still be living now as they did back then.
fjack your the greatest you made my day!!! Finally someone gave Columbus the credit he is due. The PC school systems have disparaged poor old Columbus so bad that he is  blamed for almost wiping out the entire Injun population in the Americas. Anyone you talk to under 25 has a negative opinion on Columbus. I really believe revisionism like that in school curriculum is disgusting.
I second that!
Great posts fjack.

The most important trait that these people lack is gratitude. I see it in most lower classes. They don't know the meaning of gratitude. They ask or take anything that they can get for free and couldn't care less who has to pay for it. For them it is a joke to care or even seek out someone to thank for the medicines, health care, free lawyers, food stamps, public transportation, drug and alcohol counseling, housing, etc... They think all Americans are able to afford the absorption of the costs to take care of them for free. Ungrateful leeches that come here because they're too lazy and stupid to fix their own country which has the same opportunities for change and betterment just like this country has. We may see 50 million illegals here if we don't do something about it. This country could experience a financial collapse and China will be the next economic superpower climaxing the U.S. because we have to pay for illegals and their families.

Fjack, do you have any idea how twisted your 'logic' sounds? First of all, you can't  just "DISCOVER SOMEONE" they knew who they were before you even met them. Second, yes, it was a ginormous nautical feat that Columbus performed, traveling all that way from Spain in the Mayflower to a place HE'D never been before. The kicker is that when he stopped in what would be called "America"  (by someone else's name; Amerigo Vesbucci), he thought he'd found India. THEN, Columbus in his great 'wisdumb' decided that the natives here were to be called Indians.

By definition, places and things are 'discovered' that haven't been seen (thought of or inhabited) by anyone else. The more appropriate term for what Columbus did should be 'visited', because you can't discover a place with people already settled there.

"discovered" in this context means discovered by civilised people as they didn't know of it's existence before then. The fact that primatives might have camped there and chucked a few rocks at each other is not relevant.
Actually the relevance lies in the fact that Columbus didn't discover ANYTHING. He stumbled upon the NEW WORLD (which was actually pretty old to the people who already inhabited the land before his mixed-up self arrived.) Amerigo Vesbucci, just by being the person who North and South America is named for deserved more respect than Columbus. And the 'primatives' you are referring to were just as developed as those who sought to conquer them. The natives of (whatever they named America or their land before it was renamed) this country built their lives on THEIR civilization. They hunted for their food, built their own homes, created their own textiles, got married, bore children and raised them with pride. Calling them  'primitive' would infer that they were primates, bonking each other over the head with sticks and JUST discovering fire... which are babysteps to development of a civilization back then. You have to start somewhere before you end up where you want to be, right? Its just a shame that the Natives of this country weren't given a chance after Columbus' visit, and others to follow and are now marginallized on 'reservations' on what was supposed to be their land.

Dear Erica,

See the historically accurate film Appocalyto and you'll see the native inhabitants of the Americas were savages who murdered,  mutilated, tortured, enslaved, raped and cannibalised each other even if they could stack a few rocks into a shape. I hate to promote a film by Mel (nazi-torquemada-antisemite) Gibson though.

If I'm not mistaken, Appocalypto was based on the lives of the Mayans who did live the way you described. There were evil people and good people even then. What I'm referring to are the other Native tribes in post-America. They had wars with each other... I always thought wars were a way for political superpowers to measure how "big" they were compared to everyone else. Flexing power seemed to be present even before America was though of.  The Trojans, the Spartans, the Shoguns of Japan... David and Goliath... war has always been an inherant trait. I don't condone the rapes, slavery or cannibalizm ... those things make me sick but it is what happened in the past. But much like other things in the past, people of the future seem doomed to repeat it.

And of cannibalizm, I really can't offer much support for the subject because I'm not into it however I have heard of the plane that crashed with a little over 10 passengers. Some died and some didn't. Those who didn't found it necessary to eat the dead to survive. Now if I'd been a survivor in that plane crash, I'd surely have either starved to death or taken one for the team by hunting for a mountain lion before eating a person. lol (Joke attempt...Watch out now! :D )

Erica,

Your opinions are those of the brainwashed and uneducated "One-World Socialists".

Simply put, they are insane.

If you really believe what you have written, then you lack the ability to discern civilization from savagery.

It seems you share the destructive cultural attitudes which are the very reason that negroes as a group are incapable of rising above the level of jungle primitives.

Unless you do some serious rethinking about how blessed your life has been in The New World, as opposed to the life you'd be living now in Africa had your ancestors not been brought here against their will, then I would recommend you accept JTF's Program for compensated one-way repatriation back to "The African Motherland".

I won't lose respect for you if you follow your instincts and repatriate, but I can assure you that America will not tolerate their children accepting Marxist drivel in place of Western Civilization in our schools and homes.

Go back to the Old World.

You are convinced that there is no difference between the life and culture there when compared to the life and culture here, so you and others sharing these dangerous misconceptions will be much happier there; away from those of us who know the difference between indoor plumbing and an outdoor sewer ditch.

Imerica it's not fjack that has twisted logic its you in this case. Columbus never set out to discover America per say he was looking for a quicker trade routes to the India's I believe. He was actually way ahead of his time because he felt the world was round. Most others folks of the time thought they would fall off the edge of the earth if they went to far out from land. He had the brains to notice that as a ship sailed out to sea first the tips of the mast would disappear and gradually more and more of the ship would become  visible as it went over the horizon. In a matter of speaking he did stumble on what is now some part of the Americas however since he didn't start off with a fixed destination in mind how does that diminish his accomplishment. He was able to get back to Spain which again showed he was not as dumb as you seem to think. You say he discovered people who were already there. True in a way but its European history we follow not some drawings on the side of a wigwam or cave wall.  Europeans had no knowledge that people existed in undiscovered parts of the world. What Columbus did back then would be similar to going to Mar's and finding beings living there. In a matter of speaking your position is that it would have been better if people never tried to expand their knowledge and discover new places. The Americas should have been left undiscovered to the Europeans so the indigenous people could have went on with their existence undisturbed.  This is just not the way humans operate now then or ever. If you are unable to defend your home or country sooner or later someone is going to come along and try to either take it away from you through attrition or forcibly. The primitives were not able to stall this off and as crazy as it sounds its called progress. How is Columbus responsible for all events that came after anyway. The thing that disturbs me the most is that people today say what Columbus did was wrong but they apply todays customs and standards to  1492. Things that were perfectly acceptable back then are not today. Its said that Columbus infected the natives with disease. True but he had no knowledge of disease and viruses such as small pox and other diseases that ravaged Europe and that they could be spread even when people seem well. Also why was the native population so small in comparison to Europe's. Were natives dieing of local diseases in great numbers? The basic principal here is that if civilizations are unable to defend themselves they are going to be swept aside to make way for a more dominant group like it or not. For me Columbus will always be a great figure and no amount of PC drivel will ever change that. As I tell most revisionist history folks instead of spreading PC 'wisdumb' get an older history book and learn the real facts not just the comfortable and convenient made up ones.

Because I don't subscribe to what you think I'm brainwashed and uneducated? Wow..huge jump especially coming from someone who bashes ALL blacks every chance they get. Savagery by your definition is an act in which YOU are unfamiliar with. According to some of you blacks are savages just because they are black and some of the culture is horrendous. You are proof that people are afraid of leaving their comfort zones to get to know another culture..not the bad part but the good parts. You're not willing to see good I see which makes you one-sided, IMO.

On Columbus, I'm not the only person who shares the opinion I have of him and his conquests. So its not as if I'm out there on my own with this. I've read many accounts and have discerned on my own what to take from it.

The theory that Columbus conducted his voyages in order to prove that the world was round was a myth that got started with Washington Irving's novel History of the Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus.

The world was know to be round approx. 400 bc. The greeks knew this by sticking a stick in the ground and following the shadow and by having another stick placed at a different location and then comparing the angle of both shadows. As far as the advanced civilization that columbus found, this is laughable. What he found was depravaity that goes well beyond a prom at a black high school. The nyths have been set forth by a nut case named Ivan van sertima. He claims that the egyptians discovered America and taught the people there to build pyramids. He is a professor how teaches at Rutgers. Read and laugh at his book "They come before Columbus". Not everyone was dressed in a fine suit and dress. The women ran around half nude and the men with a loin clothe. The natives were infested with VD long before Columbus got there. They had the morals of the duke rape accuserer, maya angelou, and hoprah. There is some serious scholarship out there and it is not coming from affrimative action soothe sayers. These blacks will say anything to make themselves feel good. It is sad in a way that they keep fooling themselves. We should pity them. I remember in the early 1980s when my wife and I would got to the bank and get a roll of nickels that we could give to little negro breakdancers who ammused us. I thought they were qute cute, much like a pet, but now I would not do anything for them they have proven that they can't be educated or assimalated into civilized society. Let them live with their invention myths and worship at the altar of the whore monger, drunk, plagarist and white hater. michael lucifer king.

And they now have the best casinos around taking all the white mans money and the black mans money too.
It's called progress those Indians would have did nothing with the land.
Also where would that have left the black man?, he would have been in Africa eating bugs off the trees and each other.
All blacks should thank G_d for Columbus and celebrate his holiday more then MLK.

The populations that we here had no concept of where they were and how they got here. For all practical purposes they were and still are savages. If the Europeans did not discover them and teach them they would still be living now as they did back then.

Whatever man.

When mexicans raise their flag, they are using it as a symbol of occupation. They want to take over this country, end of story. These people are so stupid that acturally think that if they take over here, without white people the country will still function. Imerica you said
I don't condone the rapes, slavery or cannibalizm ... those things make me sick but it is what happened in the past.
So why take Columbus out of his place in history and hold him to different standards?
It is what happened in the past.  Exploration and discovery.

P.S. Despite popular rumor he wasn't confronted by a civilized peace pipe smoking Indian population.

I could ask the same question about what you all think of MLK. The man has been dead for 40 or so years and yet  you all call him  n ames as if he's standing right in front of you. When the FBI files officially open up about him and all of the things you say are proven to be true about him I'll think about his character then but me bashing Columbus (someone who has been dead for hundreds of years) and you and others here bashing MLK isn't different at all.

Erica, Columbus never proclaimed to be a spiritual and moral leader for his people and the world. Your g-d did. Thus, we will hold him to higher standards. Name one thing that your g-d did that was motivated by scriptural ideals or just plain human altruism.

And no, hanging out at the casinos and strip clubs with his pals Jesse Jackson and Malcolm X does not count.

My God? No MAN is GOd to me, not even MLK. He was someone who set the civil rights movement in motion and helped to make it possible for blacks to vote and get equal treatment when it comes to using the same restrooms, drinking from the same water fountains, and yes, sitting anywhere on the bus  you'd like. That dosen't mean that he's a God to me, but he was a Godsend.

Imerica - I don't understand your post.
I have never bashed MLK on this forum.  I just don't believe that he deserves a National Holiday in his name or all the attention afforded him each year.
What makes him worthy of that?
I can think of people who have had a greater impact on the lives of more Americans
How about a Thomas Alva Edison or Henry Ford Day?   ;)

You make arguments against Columbus forgetting the time in which he lived.
That just voids out your whole argument in mind.
