Hello, everyone! I'm new here!
« on: August 08, 2011, 11:55:41 PM »
Hi JTFers. I'm a new member of your great organization. I've been looking for the right way to live for many years. Here is some information regarding me and my background.

I was born in a Bukharian Jewish family and spent almost 13 years of my life in Russia (perhaps my worst years). I had been a victim of anti-Semitism for numerous times. Two years ago, I moved to New York where I study now.
In my high school, I always had to deal with anti-Jewish muslim supremacists. They were all extremely hateful towards me. In 7th grade, one muslim student turned all his friendsagainst me because he didn't like my comment regarding his picture on facebook. In 11th grade, three muslims surrounded me and were about to beat me up because of that soccer game during gym class. I went into a fight with one of them later in a classroom and got into the principal's office, even though he started it. Principal and the school administration accused me of being 'intolerant racist bigot' and warned me about being expelled if I tell something against islam again. Students began spreading rumours about me being racist Jewish extremist and even nazi. I was not allowed to support Israel. It was a leftist school, you know. Teachers lied about muslims being opressed by evil American "bastards". Everyone wanted to be friend with muzzie scum though. They hated America despite studying here. I didn't like to hear it, but I would briefly be called 'racist' if I would tell them to stop saying such things. I hated this school. It was nothing but some kind of gulag camp by commies.
Anyway, I'm glad I found you, guys. I've been searching for NY JDL chapter but realized that there is no such. I only heard that there is JDO but it may no longer exist.
Are you ready to accept another devout Jew to your community?

Welcome TheCrusader... Is there any reason you chose your nickname? The Crusades were a very dark time for Jews...

It sounds like you had a very bad time in school. I cannot imagine that... When I went to HS in the 80s there were no mooslims in my school and most of the smart kids were Jews...

And I turned to see wisdom and madness and folly, for what is the man who will come after the king, concerning that which they have already done? And I saw that wisdom has an advantage over folly, as the advantage of light over darkness. The wise man has eyes in its beginning, but the fool goes in the darkness, and I too know that one event happens to them all. (Kohelet 2:12-14)

As I understood, the central meaning of this word is resistance to the enemy invasion. In my case, I am the Crusader against Islam, an ideology that I view as the main biggest threat not only to the Jewish people, but to the whole world in general.

By the way, most of the smart kids in my HS were also Jews. It drove some of these mooslims crazy sometimes.

Crusader comes from crucifix, from the Christian cross. So, if you are indeed Jewish please change the name because it is highly inappropriate for a Jew.

How can I change it? Is there any option? Settings?
