This is why I did not like the Price Tag operation.  I knew it would end like this and these guys will be punished severely for committing vandalism.

Aftermath of mosque fire
Israel news photo: Panet.co.ilPolice on Sunday arrested a second suspect in the torching of a mosque in the Bedouin village of Tuba Zangriya last week.

IDF Radio reported that the suspect is a 20-year-old who lives in Judea and Samaria.

Another suspect in the arson was arrested last week. The man, a resident of northern Israel, was arrested several hours after the mosque was torched while he was staying in the city of Ariel in Samaria. He was detained because he had been wanted for questioning about an incident from about six months ago, and only several hours later did the police decide to also question him about the arson in the mosque.

The mosque in Tuba Zangriya was torched last week, and an initial inquiry at the site found some graffiti in Hebrew scrawled on the walls of the mosque. It said “revenge” and “price tag,” among other things.

In response, the village’s residents rioted and set fire to the local municipal building, community center and clinic.

Over the weekend, vandalism was discovered at two cemeteries in Yafo. Unknown people spray painted “death to the Arabs” and “price tag” on the walls of two cemeteries, one Christian and one Muslim.

Homeland Security Minister Matan Vilnai said on Saturday he was certain that nationalist Jews were responsible for the vandalism, but Yiftach Region Police Commander David Gez confirmed on Sunday that it is not yet clear who was behind the graffiti and stressed that the acts were not necessarily a ‘price tag’ operation. He said that police suspect that teenagers are behind the act.

The reason for this suspicion, Gez explained, is that police also found graffiti associated with the fans of the Maccabi Haifa soccer team.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu denounced on Sunday both the attacks on the cemeteries as well as the firebombing of a synagogue in Yafo on Saturday night.

“Israel will not tolerate any vandalism, especially one that is directed against religious feelings,” Netanyahu said. “We will act with determination to find those who try to hurt co-existence.”

Netanyahu noted that he had instructed security forces to swiftly bring those responsible for all attacks to justice.

This is baloney.

Its what I said would happen.   "Price tag" is a false flag op by the shabak and they use it as a pretext to kidnap rightwing settler youth who are leaders among the hilltops.  They are holding these kids without evidence against them!   Please read the first article (linked at the bottom) which talks about the first "suspect" getting a remand for 6 days while they "collect the evidence" Lol!  Collect the evidence?  That means they don't have any?  So what makes the person a suspect?  And what are they doing to collect evidence, traveling around the world?  It takes 6 days?

This is like chaim perlman, they just kidnap these people and torture them, hoping to break their spirits, to get a false confession, or to get them to rat on someone else about anything else they know about.

I doubt it is a Shabak operation.  Chaim seems to think it is real and the one settler I spoke to, who did not approve of it, did not think it was a Shabak provocation.  Unfortunately, Israel has this administrative detention rule that they inherited from the Brits and can throw people in jail for months without evidence or charges.

A lot of people seem to think it's real, but I do not.

Even if it is real, they certainly don't have evidence to link anyone to these "crimes."  And they will definitely kidnap kids even without evidence.   So even if shabak is not involved, it is being used as a pretext.   They also kidnapped one of Rabbi Kahane's grandsons once when a muslim prayer rug caught fire, claiming he was involved and of course the media jumped on it villifying the kid.  Of course not a word was heard of it again because they had not a shred of evidence and in fact the kid had an alibi he was on the other side of the country at the time of the rug burning!  So what led them to get him in the first place?   They do not need evidence to call someone a suspect, apparently.

They should not allow administrative detention for anything less than murder, since they don't prosecute Arabs for anything less than that.
