Let Them Fall : Yosef Daniel
« on: December 04, 2011, 09:35:59 PM »
I just learned about this artist named Yosef Daniel. I dont really know his story but apparently he is a mexican Jew, his mother was Jewish and he was born in Mexico and moved to Israel.

Here is his bio from http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Radio/News.aspx/2433#.TtwtyLjJLWA

Quote
Jewish Mexican musician Yosef Daniel performs exclusive acoustic tracks and tells about his unique spiritual journey from a church with Jewish roots, to Gush Katif and finally to Jerusalem. Plus, an interview with the organizers of HaTzeaka, "The Scream ", a unique prayer gathering and music festival in the middle of the Judean desert which culminates with a mass cry out to Hashem. Also, music from Elad Avraham and Sinai Tor.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Kadosh is also very great... It relates part of the Kedusha prayer which we recite on every day as part of our Amidah prayer...

This one is in Spanish with translation in English and Hebrew...
