I agree with you there. But it is a desecration beyond words that these fruits are given free reign to defile the streets of the holiest city on earth.

If I had my way they would be institutionalized for life.

You should know that making Tishuva for disrespecting a Torah scolar is a very very hard process, so you should just stay quiet and not show your desrespect and hate towards Talmide Chachamim.

 the arab problem isnt necessarily the #1 problem. yes fighting the gays in particular and Western culture and influence in general would probably be a bigger challenge for the people of Israel. Shas represents being anti-western thinking and alien philosophies and ideologies, I just disagree with them in that they didnt fight enough against arabs, but their fight against gay sht is totally justified and necessary.
