My parents are buddhists, but mildly. They don't get down on
their hands and knees. I was introduced to church when I was
about 19 or 20. But it's hard for me to be hard-core
christian because of my past. So, I only go socially.

I do not understand what you mean by this. G-d forgives everyone who deeply and truly repents, including murderers. Since I do not believe you are one, why can you not be a hardcore Christian because of something you did long ago?

No, _I_ didn't do anything. It's what was done to me. I've done no wrong except being born at the wrong time and wrong place. Then escape only to land at the wrong place. Go to school with barbarians and savages and learn no math or English. Both of which I learned during my first year at university. (Two summer semesters and two regular semesters)
I swear, my first teacher during the summer did not know what the hell I was writing. She understood my spoken English. The Jews I met helped me out in the past.
I have no trust in anyone. So when a very attractive girl introduced me to church, I had trouble believing.

We went to different schools, she met other guys.
I met others too.
We were way too different.
She was raised middle class. Good education. Social gatherings.
I grew up in rags, poor and very unhappy. I got agitated easily. I rarely go to parties. And when I do, I'm the grumpiest one.
