Rare Israeli Garlic Discovered In Be’er Sheva

(IsraelNN.com) A rare type of garlic indigenous to Israel, Allium kollmannianum, was discovered recently at a construction site in Be’er Sheva.

Dr. Oz Golan, an aficionado of rare wild flowers, discovered thousands of the late-blooming plants during one of his searches. There are concerns that the rare plants will become extinct due to an upcoming city development project.
