All the strength to the Boy Scouts of America organization for standing up against the immoral whims of the homosexual lobby. Today they announce they would uphold the ban on gays in the boy scouts. I am proud of this decision as my father, of righteous memory, was a BSA volunteer leader and he viewed the scouts as the last bastion of morality in this country. He and his brother were proud Boy Scouts and I remember seeing photos of their experiences in the scouts of the 50s....

The decision was the result of a two-year evaluation by the organization prompted by repeated rancor over the policy, both for and against, with celebrities, CEOs and Boy Scout activists weighing in.
"The vast majority of the parents of youth we serve value their right to address issues of same-sex orientation within their family, with spiritual advisers, and at the appropriate time and in the right setting," said Bob Mazzuca, chief scout executive of Boy Scouts of America.
