Quote
Romney Supports Two-State Solution
Romney says he supports a two-state solution with the starting point on borders to be “decided by the parties involved.”

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney supports a two-state solution to solve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, he told CNN during his visit to Jerusalem.

In an interview with the American news network, which took place in Jerusalem on Sunday, Romney was asked if he saw the starting point for negotiations as the borders which existed prior to the 1967 Six Day War. He responded by saying, “I'm not being that specific. I'm saying that there will be borders that have to be negotiated and what the starting point is something which will be decided by the parties involved.”

He added, “What the ending point is will be decided by the parties involved.”

Addressing the issue of Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria, which the U.S. has criticized, Romney said that the issue “is something that should be discussed in private by the American president and our allies.”

“When we show a diplomatic distance between ourselves and our ally, I think we encourage people who oppose that relationship to seek other means to achieve their ends,” he added.

Romney also repeated that the capital of Israel is Jerusalem, something he also said during a speech in the Old City on Sunday.
Romney is making statements that implies that he will be like George W. Bush.
Namely, he will make nice statements of love for Israel, but will continue to demand suicidal concessions. True, he says now that the parties will have to decide the borders by themselves, but since that won't happen, and he believes in a 2 state solution, that means that in the end he will be pressuring Israel to make concessions like his predecessors.

He probably doesn't give a damn either way and is just saying what he thinks he needs to say. At least he is not a sworn enemy of the Jews.

Gotta say I am pretty disappointed. Just watched an interview with the Romster in Israel by Greta VanSustren....

He kept talking about these 'Palestinians' as if they are a real 'people'. There were no 'Palestinians' before 1967 just arabs.... They are arabs just like any other arabs in any other country, the same as Jordanians, Lebanese, Egyptians, and Syrians.... They need to go back to where they came form and not steal Jewish land...
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities

Exactly.  Not to mention, he won't destroy america.

Borders decided by the parties means he will stay out of it.  A real leadership in Israel would tell romney "we have cancelled the 2 state solution" and he would reply "ok."

I would ask this question of both candidates in a Debate, presented by the Moderator.
