I wouldn't bet on him leaving politics if convicted. He may quit from the knesset and the cabinet for one term, but he would remain active on and off the scenes. The charge against him is very minor (he has able to squash all the other, much more serious allegations against him over the years).

There are flyers all over the light rail station signs (People put all kinds of trash between the plastic and the real signs.) saying in Hebrew that Lieberman is not a spy.
