If I don't have a cup of coffee (sweetened and with half & half) after breakfast, then I have a bad headache. I am definitely addicted to it. After I have it, I feel great and I'm ready to go. I guess it's the same with crack addicts. But I only have the one cup per day, so I won't stop drinking it. Besides, one cup a day does have some health benefits (as someone mentioned above). And the truth is that, even if I could, I still wouldn't give it up. I enjoy it too much. If I were a smoker (never did), I would not keep this same attitude. But in the case of being addicted to one cup of coffee, I don't think that it's so terrible. And I think the benefit I get from the cup of coffee outweighs any negative that might be attached to it.
