The “Chris Christie For Governor” Monday filed nearly $6.2 million in funds raised from an unprecedented 14,260 contributors.
Christie announced his re-election bid in November of last year and the primary is June 4th.
“Governor Christie’s style of strong leadershipcontinues to resonate and draw an unprecedented show of support for the Governor’s reelection from inside and outside of the state, and from across the donor spectrum,” said William J. Palatucci, Christie for Governor Chairman.

The campaign reported $6,166,158 in contributions has been raised since Christie declared his candidacy on November 26th, 2012.
Eighty-five percent of the contributions are from the state of New Jersey, while individuals from all 50 states and the District of Columbia have contributed to the campaign.

Last week, Christie launched his first set of television commercials in Philadelphia and New York for the gubernatorial campaign
Christie is likely to face State Senator Barbara Buono.
