Thank you Chaim. Not for his political correctness, I said this, but for the eligibility issue. People bring that point up repeatedly. Literally, there is nothing else they think is relevant. They actually see it as A. a bigger disqualification than being a phony, and B. a demerit worth more than his merits.
I've had someone tell me if it comes down to Hitlery and Cruz, they won't vote, because it shows that the RNC can't come up with anyone good. The insanity is hard to miss, but it is irrelevant what we think, but rather, what voters can be convinced to think that does something.
People are being bombarded with Randy Putz material, and are strongly interested in him, in many conservative groups.
There is no comparison to Romney, but many people are not willing to let go of this eligibility thing no matter what I try, so the obstacles I see are: (A) People won't support him until the last moment and there's no other choice, and there won't be a grassroots movement in place for him to counteract the strong contenders and opponent, (B) Conservatives, fresh from the Obama eligibility issue are either going to (a) think Cruz is another example of the RNC's failure to provide acceptable candidates or (b) smell conspiracy, and not go along with him out of anger for the last ineligible president.
Any mitigation strategy, or debate to the death?
