Guess who my neighbor is?
« on: October 23, 2013, 02:26:28 AM »
Unfortunately Arik Asherman of the so called "Rabbis" (sic) for human rights lives on the same street I do.
He tried to strike up a conversation with me a few times but I told him that I do not converse with traitors & Judenrat Kapos.
We basically ignore each other.

Oy Gevalt, just what you need...

You should try to convert him to be a Kahanist...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

Why expose yourself like that?  Why not engage in a conversation and let him find out what a strong kahanists you are ?  Maybe even debate?  Why be like "screw you I don't deal with kapos?"
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

It would even be better if Kholemi did teshuva than just died. You're not obligated to succeed, but you are obligated to try, and the lowest level of prayer if for the person to die, or to curse them, even if it would be good.

Debating with someone could in some circumstances imply that you are willing to be persuaded yourself if the arguments on the other side are strong enough to have the weight of the evidence behind them. Not to worry though because left wingers don't have the weight of the evidence behind them.

They argue from emotion and believe that morality should be based on "all that counts is how it makes you feel" (I saw that catch phrase in a pro-homo video recently). If you debate with someone with a left wing mindset then it's very difficult to debate on even ground, because you will be arguing primarily using facts and they will be arguing primarily using emotion. It's hard to make any headway in such a situation.
