Rabbi Kahane Provides Torah Rationale Against Ceding Land

Personally, I don't think a religious rationale is necessary, but it is helpful.  The arabs lost the land in wars of aggression, and if they don't like it they can go to hell.

I strongly disagree with you NoMosqueHere.... Without the Jewish religion there would be absolutely NO REASON Jews should live in the land. Our religion is what makes Zionism last, not nationalism or any other -ism. The cold, clear desire which a religious Jew wakes up and prays for (the restoration of Jerusalem and the Temple) is the singular reason that Israel should be the Jewish state.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14
