I'm thinking we need to categorize everybody's level of Hebrew here and figure out a way to pair people up and do this via internet. I assume that most people know how to read Hebrew before they speak it. I also had this on the same thread.
1. Don't know how to read.
2. I'm ok at reading but need more practice and learning.
3. I can read well with the vowels, but forget about it without the vowels
4. I can read it with out vowels decently but don't understand a single word
5. I can read it, but i'm so-so with speaking it
6. I'm a Hebrew master...can read and speak it like well.
Dr. Dan:
I'm Level 3..I can help anyone on level 2 or level 1.

I'm level four. Today I learned that efetz means zero because I had to give a number to someone in Hebrew. Here is my hebrew lesson to everybody for today.
0 - Efetz
1 - Echad
2 - Shtyim
3 - Shalosh
4 - Arbah
5 - Chamaish
6 - Shaysh
7 - Sheva
8 - Shmonah
9 - Taisha
10 - Eser

It would be interesting if Chaim started each week's ask JTF with a two minute Hebrew lesson. I know I would probably learn something from it.
