Go gettem, Jack you don't prescribe the be-sensitive-to-muslims ideology. Jack Straw asks all the muslim women constituents visiting him to remove the veils.

Article short:

"In our society we are able to relate, particularly to strangers, by being able to read their face. And if you can't read people's faces, that does provide some separation." Mr Straw said he was asking women who did choose to wear the veil to "think about the implications on community relations".

But Muslim groups accused him of insensitivity and "selective" discrimination.
