Well the Evil of Iran doesn't see what God has lined up for them do they? Ezekiel 38: 14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? You will come from your place in the far north, (Russia) you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. God will directly intervene in the defense of Israel, unleashing severe natural disasters on the invaders from the north. In the end the stricken pagan nations will turn on themselves in confusion and panic. All those who set themselves against God will be destroyed....the bible has fulfilled every prophecy written and more to come. We don't know the exact sequence, but the bible was written to tell man the truth and history.
Also Psalm 83: O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. "Come, they say, let us destroy them as a nation that the name of Israel be remembered no more. With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you...the tents of Edom, and the Ishamelites, of Moab and the Hagrites. These will refer to modern day enemies of Israel too. This may even be before Ezekiel 38 and Israel will be a strong power!
