It sounds like the court is saying they ought to bring their lawsuit against those who were and/or currently are advising the haredi politicians on what to do. Namely, haredi gedolim. Seems like they provided a big opening for that type of lawsuit with their rulings, and I think the plaintiffs should go for it.
I think so too, but I don't expect much from it. And look at the fallacy of their argument, they are members of the Knesset and they have the obligation to rule and do things for the nation because they were elected, but they are claiming they are only following orders of the "Gedoyylim". That is some bulls^t, I already provided the example of a hitman saying he is only following orders and not responsible.
Either way let's say they continue to go after the "Gedolim" 1) non of these haredi "courts" will prosecute them out of fear and reverence etc.
And why in the first place are very old men in their 90's to give over orders to the rest of the Klal. Its all a scam many times they don't even know what is going on in the first place and just get orders by the Askanim who really run the show. And that's the way their society is controlled by a few askanim who dictate what they like.
