40 Day Perek Shira or Shir Hashirim

Has anyone done a straight 40 day Perek Shira or Shir Hashirim for a specific need? I hear people have had much success doing this: (I met someone right on the 40th day of Shir Hashirim)

I have not, nor do I know anyone at this time, who has said these prayers with kevanah (or without) for 40 days.... It surely should bring about Hashgacha Pratis...
