Jerusalem Day : Remembering the Liberation of our Land
« on: May 26, 2014, 05:09:01 PM »
Shalom,

While it is Memorial Day here in the states, we are preparing to recognize Jerusalem day on May 28th (Wednesday) this week.

Arutz Sheva has produced some nice (and short) pieces in memory of the historic battles which took place during the Six Day war. Hashem so obviously performed some miracles allowing the smaller and less prepared Israeli forces to defeat the overwhelming numbers of arab hordes on every side of the small Jewish state.

No matter what we feel about the politicians we must acknowledge the miracle of the liberation of Jerusalem and the heartland of Samaria and the Judean hills.

Parts 3-6 will be posted when they are available...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14
