I drink at least 1-2 large cups of it a day.  Mostly the black teas.

Only drink Green tea with sushi..

As with all cancers, people should drink more green tea. Cancer is lower in Asian countries because of this.

Be careful about green tea though, as it also can be a source of toxins.  They have found samples of some green teas that have toxic amounts of fluoride.  Too much consumption of green tea with high amounts of fluoride can be detrimental to your health over time.  If the green tea is high quality and from a reliable source, then indeed, it will be a very beneficial and healthful product and contain higher amounts of nutrients and anti-oxidants.  There is a lot of junk green tea out there and many people will think they are gaining benefits from drinking some of these cheaper green teas, but, in reality, will only be consuming high amounts of toxins, such as pesticides and fluoride with minimal antioxidant benefits.

High quality , first or second harvest matcha tea is the best source and what the Japanese imperial families have been drinking for generations.

White tea actually has higher antioxidant content with less potential for fluoride contamination, as the tea absorbs less of it at that stage and also has less caffeine for those who are sensitive to caffeine.

The DO Matcha brand of Matcha green teas is very reputable and this is what they sell at the Japanese supermarkets where I live..  They are also Certified Organic and have varying degrees of qualities from the first Harvest which are like $40.00/oz to the second and third harvests which are cheaper.

I used to get the Japanese green tea. But I've stopped since their nuclear plants have exploded.
Is there some grown in the USA?

Don't we import green tea from other Asian countries, China Korea, Vietnam, Sri Lanka etc?

Yes they are all major exporters. Japanese tea is more expensive and sells at a premium to most teas. I saw on ebay some Japanese macha tea for sale at a bargain price but it was because it comes from the vicinity of the nuclear disaster zone, so I didn't buy it.
