The Third Temple : The Children are Ready
« on: July 28, 2014, 12:44:38 PM »
We are in the final week of the 'Three Weeks' of mourning for the destruction of our Holy Temples (the 1st and 2nd)... The Temple Institute has produced very inspirational videos which encourage us to move forward with the rebuilding of the Temple. The Temple Institute does not agree with the view that the Temple will come down in a miracle from heaven (as there are interpretations of scripture which support this view) but rather it must be built by the Jewish people (in order to hasten the coming of Moshiach)...

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

That just made my head clear and twisted my stomach into a knot. What we need to mourn today is that it was not built yesterday. -1 nazi dome +1 temple of Hashem will make the 99% perfect view of Jerusalem heavenly.

We are guilty of not rebuilding it...

"Any generation in which the Temple is not built, it is as if it had been destroyed in their times" (Yerushalmi, Yoma 1a).

If anyone has not seen the original two short episodes of 'The Children are Ready' I am posting them again...

Here Rabbi Richman of the Temple Institute explains the purpose of these videos.

Moshe Feiglin is proving to be quite a Jewish man. Moshe is a mensch in every sense of the word. His morality is clear, he does not compromise or beat around the bush. His words are precise, and he talks slowly and deliberately. He is humble and yet he is very knowledgeable about Judaism and Torah.

He is an avid supporter of Jewish rights on the Temple mount, he regularly goes up (unless he is banned)...
