Operation Protective Edge : Daily Update

Shalom,

It has been a helluva week in ongoing operation in Israel. The media, as always, is distorting the story to portray Israel in the worst light and accusing us of being brutal and inhumane with the arab population. The biased media neglects to show the danger posed to Israel's population by the constant barrage of rockets from the arab occupied gaza strip. Without context it is easy to come away with the impression that Israel is the agressor. But it is a concerted effort by these biased media sources to place more burdens on Israel than any other democratic state in the world.

Of course all Jews should increase their observance of the commandments during this difficult time. The Lubavitch Rebbe, during the Six Day War, started a program to increase the observance of donning Tefillin by the men... This video is related to that idea...
