  I still don't understand your position of Haredim and the army. The army has issues, but the Haredim have major issues when it comes to the "gedolim" phenomena. It would be best to send them to the army. Like that they will become much more right wing and open to other opinions and less likely to fall into the slave mentality many of them still suffer from.
