Die kleinere die inyan die greysser der tumult - "The smaller the matter the bigger the fuss" is a Yiddish motto, & it is never truer than when it comes to small money.

The fact that Pipi and his wife Sarah come across as ill-tight in not repaying their electrician 42 shekels, could well cost the Likud 2-5 seats, so deep do small-money matters strike into the Israeli psyche!

& as we can see, Sarah is not averse to showing off her "assets" at the Knesset!
