The CFR, State Department, and the other entrenched Washington BUREAUCRACIES devise and implement treasonous and suicidal policies, and their members and employees remain unchanging regardless of which party wins a majority, or regardless of which party's candidate wins the presidency.

In addition, previous office holders who have gladly implemented treasonous and suicidal policies, do not go away when their terms of office are over.

They remain in Washington, joining the entrenched "Think Tanks", accepting and offering bribes on behalf of foreign and enemy governments to influence legislators, working within the CFR to set foreign policy directives which the President has no choice but to agree with, etc..

They appear on national television "fake interviews" Sunday mornings as propaganda tools for their agenda...they're at all times and everywhere "in our face", in collusion with mass-media CEO's, brainwashing the public to think anyone opposing them is "un-American".

Only a return to CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT will make any difference whatsoever.

Our Constitution was abandoned years ago.

Read it, and then you'll wonder aloud what kind of government is in charge here!

These "institutions" now governing America, are nowhere mentioned or empowered in the Constitution.

The Constitution states that it is the supreme law of the land, yet it has been a meaningless antiquity for quite some time.

Political parties, and corporations, are terms nowhere to be found in it.

Recently, former Republican Speaker of the House Denny Hastert shouted out at fellow legislator protesting legislation put before the floor of the House (on the grounds of it being unconstitutional) the following:

"The Constitution is an antiquated document!"

I do agree that the bureaucrats who later become "lobbyists" have too much sway over lawmakers in Washington.

However, the President is at least Constitutionally a law Enforcer.
Congress has given the President renewed power during "JORGE's" time in office that gives the executive branch the sole power to negotiate trade agreements with foreign nations.  Bush along with a long line of predecessors have been free-Traitors to his nation by allowing piss-poor nation's to capitalize off our Guilt of at one time being an imperialist Mastermind in the world !

Your hero Fred Thompson is a member of CFR and would gladly carry out their evil plans.  Fred Thompson's closest political mentor is Howard Baker and until Thompson publicly started trying to change his image to appear more conservative (which is a fraud), he was a supporter of John McCain.
