Abraham and his search for something different, incorruptible moral truth and reality that is not defined by the needs and ambition but by love and compassion that can give the full measure of the ability of a person to become better every day.

Any Jew should know this. Yehudayaakov is correct that our nation grew from Abrahams roots but was not officially a nation till we sat together at Sinai to receive the revelation of Torah. At that time we were the foundation of what was to become the Jewish people. Jews today trace to the tribe of Yehuda and other tribes have been lost... We hope to reunite as one together in the future.
You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

This stuff is interesting to me.
I don't know how Jews feel about these Jewish archaeologists.
The other guy Israel Finkelstein says some stuff that probably makes religious Jew uncomfortable and insulted. Like one time he said that king David's palace was nothing more that a pile of rocks - just not in those words, but not far from it either.
