The Irish always bash a muslim twice!.
The Republic of Ireland is one of the most pro-arab/pro-muslim, anti-Israel nations in the world. They project the fight of the IRA against the "occupiers" in Ulster to the Middle East conflict, portraying themselves as the downtrodden "victims" of "imperial colonisation". Many Northern Irish Protestants are also evangelical and support Israel on biblical grounds.
As a Jew, I have no love for the British royal family, the British government and the vicious Jew hatred of the Brits that not only led to the deaths of millions of Jews during WW2 due to them turning back fleeing Jews, but also the open support of the Arabs and severe restriction on Jewish migration to mandated Eretz Yisrael after the Jews fought for them against the Ottomans in WW1. However, I still wholeheartedly support the Protestant Loyalists because they are the victims of beastial terror. They are a people who have their own culture, their own religion and have lived on the island of Ireland for hundreds of years.
The English-centric British government also don't particularly care for them, the BBC is absolutely pro-Irish and the hordes of socialists that make up the British political establishment such as Livingstone and Galloway have spoken for Sinn Fein at their fundraisers.
Also, the Irish government openly sided with the nazis during WW2, the founder of Sinn Fein was an absolute anti-semite, Dublin is currently the only European city to house a statue of a nazi, Sean Russell and the Catholic minority of Northern Ireland are rabidly pro-PLO/hamas/nazi and even openly display the nazi/PLO flag on their streets and in their murals. The IRA have trained and armed PLO and Hizbollah and they also have strong links to Gadaffi and Colombian, Marxist drug lords. Ireland also only formally recognised the state of Israel in 1975.
