LEPOSAVIC – Kfor Commander Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta and Dragan Jablanovic, mayor of the municipality of Leposavic, northern Kosovo-Metohija, on Saturday agreed that the level of security in northern Kosovo has increased.

Miglietta and Jablanovic met in Leposavic on Saturday to discuss the situation in Kosovo, with particular focus on northern Kosovo-Metohija.

Jablanovic expressed gratitude to Miglietta for the unbiased and efficient maintaining of a safe and secure environment and the freedom of movement, noting that Kfor is one of the most dependable institutions in Kosovo.

Kfor will continue to ensure a safe environment in the north and the remainder of Kosovo, ready to intervene as the third instance of the security response if necessary, a Kfor statement quoted Miglietta as saying.
