3 Negative comments I got on Cruz
« on: November 08, 2015, 11:26:02 AM »
Defending Cruz is pretty easy, and taking down the other candidates is even easier, but here's 3 things I don't have a response for.

1. No one has seen his mother's birth certificate. She needs to post it. Who were her parents?

2. He didn't say anything about the pope attacking America, and just praised him.

3. One guy who was a 9/11 first responder who was injured told me he was not in favor of free healthcare to help 9/11 first respondents who were injured on 9/11.

Help.

Is this a joke?

I truly and deeply wish it was. 2 hours conversation with some published conservative pundit who tried to convince me that Cruz's mother isn't American, the pope is my own sentiment, Trump was the only one to stand up for America against his far-left tirade, and Cruz could have said nothing, praising the parts he believed in isn't going to get him any supporters, and makes him look like he won't take the tough stance when needed, contrary to many other instances where he has, and there are 10 Jews praising G-d that Cruz isn't leading, and comparing me to a Hitlery supporter because I asked why Cruz would say that. I googled it further, and apparently the only one supporting this bill is Bernie Sanders, so there's something up with this, but there's a dude that said he asked Cruz what he would do, and Cruz told him to go to Israel, which makes no sense because there are American 9/11 first respondents too. I said maybe he didn't understand the question, because that response is completely illogical, and now apparently I'm a hater of Am Yisrael or something, and the first respondent has "gone through enough" without having me to ask him simple questions and increase his problems in a manner comparable to almost dying on 9/11.

One of the wackier ones today was saying that this statement "“I think anyone in politics you’ve got a special obligation to avoid being a Pharisee, to avoid ostentatiously wrapping yourself in your faith,” Cruz said. “Because I think in politics, it’s too easy for that to become a crutch, for that to be politically useful.” The Pharisees were a Jewish sect known for strict observance of law." shows he'll change his stance on everything (which was pathetic coming from someone who wanted Trump or Carson to win), but I was kind of offended by that too, it's a completely NT version of what Pharisees were that displays utter ignorance as to who they actually were, and running with something you don't really know to make a political point isn't cool. That's a non-issue though, he's not expected to know Judaism.

Issue (1) doesn't worth an answer. As for (2) whomever claims that should bring up exactly how the pope had "attacked" America and what Cruz had said. Realistically it is very unwise to directly attack the Pope and there is nothing to gain from that. Ted Cruz obviously doesn't support amnesty and socialism which the Pope promotes and that's what important. As for (3) I have no idea what's this about. I can't expect him to sign on any piece of paper presented to him not without being very well informed. I don't know who is responsible for covering the health issues of first responders, most likely it's the city and state rather then the federal government. Is there a real situation of lack of funding? I doubt there are 33,000 cancer cases directly resulted from 9-11.

You can think whatever you want about 1, there's a ton of people that take it very seriously, and something has to be said.

For 2, a. Who cares what there is to gain, if someone tells your country to let in illegals and make socialism, two things you stand against, and you praise him for saying "love" in between them two, 1. you look weak, 2. you look like you're afraid of political correctness, 3. you just encouraged people to like and agree with someone who is showing disdain and disagreement toward your values. At least say "with all due respect, America is not interested in more illegals". Anything. , b. There is plenty to gain in terms of media coverage, and support. He could have responded to the pope's comments without offending anyone outside of those the left will try to convince to be offended, and everyone would have forgotten in a week anyways, either way.

For 3. The guy keeps telling me he said "go to Israel" and that this indicates Cruz was accusing him of whining. I think that Cruz did not understand what he said, but I can't pursue that line of questioning with the first responder guy, because a host of people attack me for asking if that's a possibility.

I tried mentioning that these are minute issues, and the other candidates have massive problems, Ted Cruz has allegations of problems and things that could indicate a problem, and almost everything he says and does is perfect. It's enough for hundreds of people that I've talked to, to not want to vote for him. If I can respond, it will convince them.

It's this guy. I actually like his pages and his show, and he seems like a great Jew, but he's really wrong on this one. I don't know what to respond, because it seems so comical, and he just keeps repeating that Ted Cruz told him to go to Israel for his healthcare. Now he's repeating stuff I said in it, so my conversations aren't helping. I think the government should help 9/11 respondants and soldiers, but I don't think that Ted Cruz meant what he thinks he does.

The guys is basically making a Jews against Cruz for that comment. What do you say to something like that, especially since he looks kinda sick, so anything i say 10 guys are screaming at me to give him a break and just side with him on everything.

Are you kidding....Cruz is a citizen of the United States, a true Conservative, a smart man who will change the scope of disaster we are in....Cruz isn't there to slander the pope, he is there to present the truth of Socialism and how it destroys socieites.  Capable, stable, and brilliant.
