OK I read the report on many news rags.
She is evil because she is using her extreme case to justify the majority of cases.

In her case, you really need to sit back and think because the unborn may be born only to soon die in misery. On the other hand, there was a child who was born just months in the womb. She was supposed to die. But she's over a year old now and she looks just like any other kid.

Now, in the majority of cases, the child is just a by-product. This is evil. And especially so when the fetus already looks like a child. I find it odd that these people can look at a sonogram ( ultrasound ) and look at their own child and still want to kill it.

Jews don't allow abortion for rape victims.
But I'm not Jewish, so I would consider it if its done early.

I believe Judaism only allows abortion if the pregnancy is a threat to the mother's life medically--then it becomes a rodef since it is "pursuing Jewish blood". Chaim would know for sure.

She's a eugenicist who believes only perfect babies should be given a chance to live apparently. The condition may have been lethal, but she should have given the baby a chance at least.

On the other hand, I don't know what Orthodox rabbis would have to say about this. There might be some difference of opinion here. But I don't believe that for Jews, life begins at the instant of conception.

Their are different Halachic Psakim and approaches. Their is room and those who say that if the child is known to be born handicapped for life then their is room to make an abortion for a Jewish mother. Maybe even perhaps for a women who was raped, their might be room to say that their are psychological factors especially today that would ruin her life because of it. (The first I have seen written by Rabbi Melamed, the later I havn't seen written but just a thought). For non-Jews I don't know but I assume in this case its stricter against abortion according to Halacha.

But if the woman's life is actually in danger then it is permissible.

It's not the innocent baby's fault that their father is an evil person. They don't deserve to be cut to pieces.

If there is any heath risk then yeah, but if it was your wife G-d forbid, it's a heath risk to get an abortion, you'd better just put them up for adoption on the other end of the country.

Personally I don't believe "any health risk" justifies an abortion. Pregnancy itself is a health risk. Childbirth has always been and is a health risk. There has to be a direct threat to the mother's life like a tubal pregnancy to justify an abortion.
