A. is an Israeli Jewish woman who moved to Sweden 39 years ago.
Last February, she started working as a teacher in a school in Malmö.
One week later, she was fired for being Jewish.
The principal warned her that problems would arise due to her origins. "It won't be easy for you here. Most Swedish students are racists."
"They hate everybody, especially Jews. It is very likely that you will be attacked by the students, both Swedish and Arab".
He advised her to get a job far from any school.
A. said she wanted to cry when the principal fired her, but she understood what he meant. She realized that hiding her Star of David wasn't enough, she would also have to hide her origins.
