France: Youths attack locksmith thinking he's Jewish

Five months after the facts the police finally arrested three 15 year old thugs who assaulted a locksmith they thought was Jewish.

After hearing a commercial on a Jewish radio for a locksmith and deciding that he had a "Jewish sounding" name, three youths called the service under pretext of getting an estimate for the installation of an armoured door in the Paris suburb of Bussy St Georges.

When the (non-Jewish) employee arrived at the location, the three thugs, who were masked and armed with knives and tear gas, jumped him yelling:

"Give us your money, filthy Jew!"

In the ensuing scuffle, they made off with the locksmith's cell phone and wristwatch, but he was able to see their faces and identify them in a line-up.

So far the thugs have refused to speak, but their phones reveal that they were present and are full of anti-Semitic text messages.
