Does it make sense that Cruz dropped out here?   I mean, sure getting swept in Indiana was really bad, but why not fight til the bitter end?

The media will turn on Trump soon and it’s going to get really ugly, if Cruz wants his movement to live on, he should NOT endorse Trump.

Again, we are reminded why the Founding Fathers were against the formation of political parties:

The combination of party machinery and yellow press media set up a dictatorship that suppresses good candidates in favour of a plutocratic system (or idiocratic in Trump's case).

Politicians aren't statesmen, all they care about is winning the next election, not the wellbeing and future of the nation.

Cruz didn't quit but he did see the futility of trying to outspend a fanatic and biased media that is going to turn on Trump as soon as it dispatches Cruz.  The delegates he won are still for Cruz and if anything, it is Trumps mouth that will cause defections among his delegates.

The key is when will the media start the TrumpDump and do the HilaryShillary?

He seems a decent man.  I don't think he would have quit if there was a path.  I would hope he would be offered the Vice Presidency.  But I don't know if he would take it.  It is sad that today decency is a detriment or non qualifier for the presidency.

IAEA says less than four years. Who cares about a third party? Plan B failed, back to failed plan A, elect someone or get someone in power in Israel in the next two years that will take down Iran.

It was probably already over once Obama took office the second time but just got worse with an establishment congress. Will America survive the next 4 years with either individual as president?  At the very best, America will survive but there will always be a democrat, liberal socialist fascist as president...much like the way we have NY and California and other states.  There will be a demographic shift and conservative values will be an even rarer occurrence. 

At that point, who knows what Gd will do?  He sets forth rules like there are rules in nature, such as gravity.  And when a society attempts to defy those rules, like one who defies gravity, it will fall.
