Maggie Hassan might be the new Senator from New Hampshire.

Is she a Muslim or just her husband? I thought she was an Arab but then I saw it was her husband's last name, not hers. When I saw her first name, I was surprised it wasn't an Arabic name.

From what I read,  neither her or her husband are Muslims.   However,  she identifies with the United Church of Christ,  what is a Leftist entity that supports the' BDS movement' against Israel and ' Same Sex Marriage'.    Though the Republicans kept the majority in the U.S. Senate,   not all news was good regarding the U.S.  Senate results.
