Typical liberalism in action.  Her purpose is to offend God and her measuring stick is how believers find her remarks offensive if not outright delusional.  The more backlash these atheists get, the more satisfied they are about their success.  They are not expressing their belief and the proof is in their hypocrisy.  She is not a Muslim and has no intention of becoming one.  The saying that has become popular with conservatives (If you are not taking flack, you are not over the target) is being heeded by liberal elitists like Steinham.  The more she riles you, the happier she is.

Bil Maher is also atheist is he not? He is capable for some critical thinking though he is still unable to come to term with the fact that the so called lebaeral left is a force of evil allied with Islam.

Maher "occasionally" shows an ability to think critically but more often reveals a predisposition to use flawed premises he purports to be truth and the basis for his reasoning, which he then distorts as humor of the obvious.  Like so many others, Maher is not content to be an atheist.  He wants to be an anti-theist.
