I think it is more because of Russia, than Serbia itself. They don't want Russia to sell their weapons to anyone. But we are also buying weapons from the NATO countries. We bought 9  Airbus Helicopters H145, and 18 French Mistral light air-defence systems with (only) 50 missiles that we will integrate on our short rage air-defence system Pasars-16. They have nothing against those purchases.

You think they'd put some kind of pressure against you like this if you bought from Israel?

I don't think so. But you never know.

We only bought small UAVs from Israel (Orbiter, 10 pcs), some 10 years ago. And some small arms like Uzi and Jericho 941. Unfortunatelly that is all.

Serbia has declared itself to be "militay neautral" country. The parlament has voted this too, about a month ago. So we try to conduct military drills and trade with everyone.

Probably wouldn't do it openly anyways.

Wish Serbia had allies that'd help them return the muslim invaders to sender instead of having to be neutral the the neutered NATO and crazy Russians.

Serbian president announced that Serbia will buy weapons from Israel:

Vučić said the Serbian purchase of weapons from Israel will “not be a small delivery.”

Why would Serbia support Muslims like Pakistan? Don't they know from experience with Muslims in Albania and Bosnia that Muslim countries are bad?

"Just business", as they say. We have a policy of selling military equipment to anyone who wants to buy it, without any strings attached. Pakistan wants to buy equipment from us, India doesen't. Even if Croatia or Albania would want to buy something from us, we would sell them.

Would you support selling to Croatia or the fake country "Kosovo" under Albanian occupation?

Serbia delivered the first 100 pieces of T-55H1 modernised tanks to Pakistan. A few years ago Pakistan bought 282 Serbia's surplus T-55 tanks, with request to be modernised by Yugoimport to H1 standard.

Sorry about this. It seems to be fake news.

Serbia extends artillery range to 40 km

A Serbian-developed NORA-B52 M15 155 mm/52 calibre 8×8 wheeled self-propelled gun-howitzer and LRSVM M18 Modularni Oganj (Modular Fire) multiple rocket launcher (MRL) have achieved a range of 40 km during live firings.

https://www.janes.com/article/95868/serbia-extends-artillery-range-to-40-km

Before this, we had to do the testing in other countries, because we didn't have enough space to do it in Serbia.

Tanks are pretty. Neuroscience is the future of weapons, however. The things I know and have heard of change everything. Robotics will have a role as well, but why have an army at all if in a moment you can make every enemy see their brothers as you charging them with a spear?

Because that is science fiction.

Not any more. You need whole headsets and stuff for the moment, but with the 5g you can transmit enough information to just a chip in someone's head to pull it off. Of course, the goal is simply waves.

Also, that's just the aim, there are current applications. From a distance of several miles, you can transmit neurological signals that will cause depression and ultimately demoralize an entire target group instantaneously. Essentially it triggers your brain to withhold dopamine excessively and release other chemicals that will quite simply make you sad. Since morale wins battles (not so much since ac-130 gunships, but vs. someone other than America still) massive military advantage from that.

Under development, and in need of funding isn't the same as science fiction. More than 10 years ago they developed a headset that allows researchers to control you. You press forward, and you simultaneously feel the greatest physical and emotional pain to stay still, while even the thought of moving forward is rewarded with massive dopamine. It isn't perfect, I can resist it with some effort and pretty easily when lying down, the pain tastes good, but all the nerds couldn't help themselves. That you can put in a chip now. Once as that can be transmitted, a big army is a big liability, unless you're in the new weapons race too.

I really don't know where do you get that info from. You are saying that enemy will implant a chip into every single of our soldier's brain (without themknowing of course), and then it will transmit some signals to it to disable them. Please...

At the moment, with the chip there's very little practical application, you can only affect one solider at a time that you could have just killed in the first place when you put the chip in. It becomes a weapon of mass destruction when you can transmit the same signals the chip sends to your brain over waves. 5g isn't really a solution for now, because despite it having the bandwidth to do so, you basically need to be within a few hundred feet of the transmitter or it doesn't reach. So to do what you want, you need something with the bandwidth of 5g and the range of 3g and in the first place you need to be able to transmit this in waves.

As such, it's the weapons development of the future, probably a good 10-20 years before it does what I said perfectly, but clearly everything changes if it works.

You can hire Israelis to put some cute mods on those puppies. They're adorable though. One day a bunch of illegals running out of Kosovo away from them.

People say that we are buying 300 pieces of Trophy APS from Israel for our tanks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trophy_(countermeasure)

I don't know if it is true, but ou President did say when he visited Israel that we will be buying a significant weapons package from Israel.
