 I was just reading about a guy from my home state who was a high school drop out, and worked for the post office, and quit to get a GED and was bitching and moaning that they would only give him food stamps for 6 weeks unless he looked for a job....I didn't make the AA connection in my head until just now, but it occurs to me that the post office would NEVER hire a white high school drop out??  now It all makes sense.......Hmmmmmm.

Going to prison is a 'rite of passage' for a black. Doing a stretch in prison is much more valued than an education.
