Very briefly, almost all Palestinian Muslims originated in Arabia. Even those who did not fell into this dynamic. Those aligned to the Qais Confederation are from the north. The "north in question is al Hijaz, al Nej'd and other contigious areas in today's Saudi Arabia.
The Yamani are from the south, in this case portions of Yemen contigious to today's Saudi Arabia.
